Frequently asked questions

Quick answers on pricing, services, coverage area and how to get started with event production and entertainment in Toronto and the GTA.

Below are the questions we hear most often from corporate clients, couples, festival organizers and brand marketers across Toronto and the GTA — covering pricing, coverage area, booking timelines, and what is actually included in AV, live entertainment and full production bookings. For a deeper walkthrough of a specific subject, visit the dedicated Services, Workflow or Contact pages, each of which has its own topic-specific FAQ section as well.

How much does event AV and entertainment cost in Toronto?

Every event is scoped to its goals, guest count, venue and production level, so pricing is custom. Share your date, venue and vision and you will get a clear, itemized quote covering AV, talent and production management for your Toronto or GTA event.

Do you provide both technical AV and live entertainment?

Yes. That is the whole point of Sheldon Universe — turnkey event production and entertainment together. Book the LED wall and the live band in one conversation, tuned to work as a single show.

Can you hire a technical director, DJ or performers for my event?

Absolutely. We provide technical direction plus DJs, MCs, bands, singers and specialty performers for corporate, wedding and festival events across the GTA, all matched to your brand and integrated with the production.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario and produce events across Toronto and the GTA — including Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Aurora and Newmarket — and travel for the right project.

What size of events do you take on?

From intimate weddings and corporate galas to festival main stages in front of thousands. The workflow and the standard of production stay the same at every scale.

Do you offer LED video walls, staging and hybrid streaming?

Yes — LED video walls, staging, concert-grade audio and lighting, and hybrid or streamed event capability are all part of our AV production services for corporate and live events.

How do we get started, and how far in advance should we book?

Reach out with your event details and target date. We will have a discovery conversation, then come back with a plan, a creative direction and a budget. For festivals and concerts we recommend booking 3-6 months ahead; corporate and wedding AV can often be arranged faster.

What does festival production include?

Talent buying, mobile stages, concert-grade audio, video and lighting rigs, site and production management, permits, power and full event-day logistics — everything needed to run a festival main stage on time.

Do you produce full concerts, not just corporate events?

Yes. We have produced headline and celebrity concerts, including work with Juno-winning band Manic Drive and artist Alkaline, handling everything from stage design to show-day execution.

What corporate AV services do you provide in Toronto?

Keynote presentations, plenaries, breakout sessions, awards shows, galas and hybrid or streamed conferences — engineered staging, sound, video and lighting delivered with broadcast polish for corporate clients across Toronto and the GTA.

Do you handle wedding AV and entertainment?

Yes — ceremony sound, live bands or DJs, uplighting and dance-floor production, all coordinated as one seamless run-of-show alongside your other wedding vendors.

What kinds of live entertainment do you offer?

Brand activations, circus and acrobatics, ambient and specialty performers, and interactive guest experiences — entertainment matched to your brand, not generic filler acts.

Do you travel outside Toronto and the GTA?

Yes, for the right project — we regularly build productions in hotels, convention centres, estates and outdoor sites across Ontario and beyond.

What is the difference between a Co-Producer, Project Manager and Creative Director?

A Co-Producer shares the full production and its financing with you; a Project Manager runs the plan you have already set; a Creative Director designs the show's look and feel. Most clients start with a conversation and we recommend the right fit.

Can you produce events at our own venue, or only your partner venues?

Both. We regularly produce at our marquee venue partners across the GTA, and we build full productions at client-chosen hotels, estates, convention centres and outdoor sites just as often.
